On Saturday 13th Of August 2011 Bouverie Place Shopping Centre commissioned Amelix to produce and event mange their annual talent show Bouverie Place Has Talent!
Amelix have worked closely with Bouverie Place on this annual event which is now in its third year drawing crowds from Folkestone, and across East Kent.
Contestants enter the show by filling in forms online or picking up entry forms around the centre to showcase their talent alongside the best East Kent has to offer. In 2011 over 30 acts hit a custom built Amelix stage, all aiming to win the various group stages as well as the chance to work alongside industry professionals with a customised first prize (depending on the talent)
This year’s judging panel was made up of Charlie George (2010 winner) alongside music industry veterans FunkyViva Productions Troy Antunes and Miss Vivianna, and for a second year on the panel local talent Louise Orfilia.
Laura Siminson Amelix account manager for Warner Estates (who own Bouverie Place) said “This year’s show was absolutely fantastic, the sun was high in the sky as the crowds wached some amazing talent. The entire team are always amazed at the quality of the talent showcased at this event and can’t wait for next years show and returning for the big Christmas Event”
Amelix are already booked for Bouivrie Place’s Christmas event in November.
